Have Fun in Red Bank This Fall
Are you going to be in Red Bank this month?
October is a great time of year to visit Red Bank. It’s finally cool enough to bundle up in a sweater or scarf from Greene Street Consignment on Broad Street, but still warm enough to enjoy a stroll through Riverside Gardens Park, where the trees are ablaze with beautiful fiery autumn colors.
Here are some of the events that are happening in our cool little town this month:
The Farmer’s Market
The Red Bank Farmer’s Market is still in full swing, operating every Sunday from 9 am — 2 pm in the parking lot of The Galleria. Enjoy an apple cider doughnut from the Cinnamon Snail food truck, pick up some mums for your front stoop, and get all of your fresh produce before the frost sets in.
Girls Night Out in Red Bank
Beginning at 5 pm on Thursday, October 15th, Girls Night Out will bring lots of specials and discounts to participating shops, salons, restaurants and bars, as well as live music and prizes.
Halloween Parade
For some local Halloween family fun, check out Red Bank’s Halloween Parade, to be held on October 18th (rain date: October 25). Participants will line up at 1 pm at East Bergen Place and South Street, and will end the parade at the White Street Parking Lot, where costumes will be judged and prizes given.
If you are interested in joining the parade with a small group or float, register by e-mailing [email protected]
Food & Wine Walk
From 2 pm — 5 pm on October 18, you can sample food and wine from some of Red Bank’s best fine food establishments. You must purchase a ticket in advance:
